Methane Digesters Overview

Methane digesters have really come on strong since Y2K. 

Both the federal government and many state governments have gotten behind the green energy initiative and have put a lot of grant money out there for the construction of methane digesters.

The Dairyman's LINK has been involved in this technology strongly since 2007.  We have been the project management choice for three new installations in NY and are currently managing the installation of one new project for 2012 and three other upgrades that will be adding a 2nd engine. 

We were also involved in managing food waste to 9 digesters in NY which entailed organizing 144 loads per week and balancing the distribution of various types of food waste.

Our knowledge in this field has gained us a strong reputation in NY and we are looking to expand our consulting to other areas.

The use of this technology is growing rapidly and thus the technology is changing rapidly as they learn methods for improving their specific products. 

Before embarking upon any project of this magnitude, be sure you have done all the proper research first!  We have seen MANY financial blunders others have made related to methane digesters and our goal is to help the farmer make a wise choice to ensure financial success.
